Table Read
With a full script table read scheduled for this Friday, things are getting exciting. I'm looking forward to working with all of the actors and seeing how the script feels as it comes to life. Stay tuned for some pictures, comments and more news!

Locations, Casting, and other Filmmaking Shenanigans
I spent this Saturday scouting locations in Durham, NC with Paul Frateschi. We found some great locations, and I'm going to make some calls and try and get my foot in the door this week.
This Saturday evening I received the final audition via video for the role of Jennifer Tesh. We have had a good amount of talented actors and actresses audition for the roles in this film, and I am looking forward to working with all of them. The first table read is Dec. 3rd, so stay tuned for updates about preparation for that, and how it turns out.
Stay tuned for some announcements about final casting for the lead roles.

Actors and bringing ideas to life.
I'm hoping to finalize the cast list for 'Unforgotten' in the next few days. We are planning a table read on Dec. 2nd, which will be the first time to get the (most of) the entire cast together.
Seeing an actor read lines that you've written is always eye opening. Cinema is different from other art forms in a very special way- because it is one art form in which someone else expresses your ideas for you. It can be frightening- but simultaneously amazing to see an actor breathe life into a character.
It's one thing that will never lose it's wonder for me- I can write a character- literally creating a character in my mind, put it down on paper in a scene, and someone else brings that idea that I had in my mind to a physical reality.
More on Casting and Actors soon.
Behind the scenes: The process behind cinema
Stumbled onto this website today.

I always find behind the scenes intriguing - seeing something so amazing like cinema being created is always exciting. I hope that as production for 'Unforgotten' continues I can deliver more behind the scenes.

Pre-Production on 'Unforgotten'
I am currently in the middle of pre-production on my current feature film 'Unforgotten'. The final changes to the script were made yesterday, and it is now available to the entire cast and crew.
After I finished the changes the script last night, I took a couple minutes and searched for the earliest draft of 'Unforgotten' I could find. It was quite entertaining to read.... and much shorter. 36 pages shorter, to be exact.
It's exciting to see the progression and process that a film goes through. Hopefully, I can keep everyone in the loop and keep the updates coming. Stay tuned for more updates about actors, auditions, and callbacks this week.
