Nearing the end of shooting for IPSEITY!

The past week has been a blur of shooting on my feature film 'IPSEITY'.

We started back shooting on Wednesday, May 9th, after taking the month of April off. On Wednesday night we shot some very small sequences downtown Raleigh with Charles Allen.

Thursday night we shot pickups with Katherine Drew and Abigail Cornell, and also did a makeup test in which we aged our two lead actors by 30 years- Check out the picture below!

On Friday we shot part of the scenes that take place at our Hospital location from 8 am to 4 pm- A shout out to all of our actors on Friday - Cheryl McConnell, Katherine Drew, Charlie Allen, Greg Wait, Abigail Cornell, Douglas Kapp, and Kimberly Dunevant!

On Saturday we shot all of the remaining scenes with the character Angela Drake (played by Kimberly Parker). Starting in Raleigh at 8 am, we traveled to North Raleigh and downtown and finally wrapped shooting at around 6 pm. Special thanks to our newest cast member, Ab Thorpe, and to John and Sandee Pates for their hospitality!

On Sunday I shot footage for an opening title sequence with Charlie Allen. More on that later-

Jackson Scott (played by Doug Nydick) confronts Angela Drake.

Angela Drake (played by Kimberly Parker) looks around her home cautiously.

On Monday we finished up the remaining hospital scenes with a marathon of a shooting schedule- Thank you to all the actors that were extremely patient, flexible, and committed to shooting on that day - Cheryl McConnell, James Ebert, Jocelyn Rose, Charlie Allen, Greg Wait, Ley Mitchell, and Tony Basile. You guys were great!

5 days of consecutive shooting- The most consecutive days of shooting in the production. Stay tuned for more updates as we wrap on shooting this Sunday, May 20th!

Be sure to check out our promo video and our campaign here at INDIEGOGO! We have already raised 600 dollars!

'The Strong One' is also only a couple weeks away from being screened at Cannes Film Festival in the Short film Corner!
