Updates on 'Ipseity' and 'The Strong One'

So, it's been a while since I've given you all an update on what's going on behind the scenes:

As you may know, 'Ipseity' will start back with the final block of shooting in MAY! This is giving us some time to prep for the final shoots, cast some of the small remaining roles, as well as giving the cast and crew some time off!

A special congratulations to our Director of Photography, Paul Frateschi, who got married last week! (Another reason we are not shooting in April!)

Meanwhile, I have been making preparations my film team on 'The Strong One' for the screening in LA this summer at the CMF Grand Finale, June 21st-23rd. We'll keep you posted with our updates and more info!

In addition to this, we've begun the first steps of Post-production on 'Ipseity', organizing and syncing sound for all the scenes we've shot so far. For those who don't know what 'syncing sound' is, when we shoot, we record sound and video separately- This means that for each shot, you have one video clip, and one audio clip, and they have to be matched up and synced in order for editing to begin.

Slates, (or clappers) like the one below used in 'The Shining' are used to make the syncing process easier.

Stay tuned for some more updates- Shooting on 'IPSEITY' starts back on Wednesday, May 9th!
