Cast interviews!

This weekend, we not only did pickup shots for IPSEITY, but we also brought back some of our main cast and interviewed them for some promotional behind the scenes videos!

We interviewed Charlie Allen, Katherine Drew, Doug Nydick, Kimberly Parker, Abigail Cornell, and Mike West. Greg Wait will also have an interview video released, but his interview was scheduled for a different time.

I can't wait to release these interviews, along with several scenes from the film. Right now, that is a couple months away, but we are well on our way there, and the video cut of the film will be finished before September.

Check out these pictures from the shoot!

Also, a special thanks to Cliff Armstrong for letting us use Trailblazer Studios in Raleigh for the promotional shoot!

Updates on IPSEITY

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to give you some updates on IPSEITY. This Friday (Aug. 24th) we shot several pickup shots with Katherine Drew, Charlie Allen, and Mike Gutowski.

For those who don't know, 'pickup' shots are shots that have to be redone. It's not a reshoot of an entire scene, but it definitely requires some kind of recreation of the scene.

In this case, we recreated the first scene of the film, and shot a couple of small shots that we will piece together with the rest of the original footage. The audience will never know. Enjoy these pictures from the shoot, and stay tuned for some pictures of the promotional photo shoot, and the cast interviews!

Updates

In the past week I have met and talked with several new people that will soon be joining to post-production team to work on IPSEITY. I can't wait to introduce them and give you more details about the project. More on that coming soon!

Also, this week I had the opportunity to help Brian Decontreras and Caige Crampshee on their short film. Collaborating on projects with filmmakers is always a joy, and I am always looking to work with new faces.

Stay tuned for more updates - and in the meantime, please check out my website and follow me on twitter!

Updates, reshoots, auditions, and radio!

Last week, 'The Strong One' team, including Cinematographer Josh Bielick, Writer/poet Tim Reavis, and I, were asked to speak on WUNC's radio show, "The State of Things". It was an exciting and fun opportunity to talk about 'The Strong One' to a broad audience, and we were very thankful for the experience. Check out the podcast of the show on WUNC's website, HERE!

Meanwhile, in other news, the talent management agency, 'Depa Management Group' will be representing me at the Marina Del Ray Film Festival in September! Check out my bio page on their website, here!

Pre-production on my next directorial film 'Bryan', written and produced by Taylor D. Adams continues. Auditions were held on Sunday, and I can only say good things about the talent that will be involved in this film.

Post-production for Ipseity continues on. The video cut is still in progress, and we conducted a reshoot this past weekend. See below for some pictures of the scorching hot August sun, and our attempt at surviving it.

Director of Photography, Paul Frateschi, stays cool.

Stay tuned for more news as we finish the 'IPSEITY' video cut, and produce some interviews with cast and crew!
